Impulse for your month

via
Do you ever have the feeling of not being worthy of something? Not being worthy of someone's admiration or thanks, or even not being worthy of living and working for God? I know people who always have the feeling that they have to work harder to please God. They feel like they are not enough to build his kingdom on the earth and they always have to earn their place in heaven. I believe, though, that this sort of faith is not healthy. It makes you anxious of failing, of missing out on God's plans.
But God has so much to offer for you, and all you need to do is give him your life, listen to what he says to you either through scripture or personally in prayer and start doing something. Even if it's "only" loving your neighbor - helping an old lady to cross the street, being honest about the money someone dropped in line in the supermarket or just a smile for somebody who looks like they're having a bad day. That's all God wants from you. He loves you unconditionally, and he loves it even more when you pass his love on to others.
He loves you just as much as he loved his disciples.
In chapter 4 of the Acts of the Apostles scripture says in verse 13:

"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized, they had been with Jesus"

What God wants to tell you in this scripture is that you don't need to be a super human to serve him right. You just need to trust him and his love and pass it on to others - no special qualification needed.
Remember that this month; You are worthy, loved and wanted.
